We stopped in here after dinner and were able to find everything we need to cook authentic Ethiopian cuisine at home! I can't wait to try the injera we bought and the selection of spices was amazing.

Rubber necked Meskel Market on my way home form work, wait, what is that place? I was intrigued by this simple looking Ethiopian convenient store, so I drove around the block and in my impatience for discovery, parked illegally. Inside, to my delight, there are huge stacks of bubbly injera bread. Each pack must weigh 5 lbs! I ask the man behind the counter if smaller packs are available, sadly they were sold out of the chubbies. I move on to the stacks of packed spices, eyeing a cake stand filled with what appeared to be samosas. They guy tells me they are Ethiopian lentil samosas, I am so sold. I buy two for $4 and jet home to consume with an Oregon pinot. Ah, such delight! I go on yelp and find nothing. Come on guys, Meskel Market needs a little props! In the meantime, stay tuned for upcoming injera reports.
